Aaniish mnik aawiyin wiisaakdokewinini?

Centring language and beadwork as a methodology of resistance and refusal, the phrase "Aanish mnik aawiyin wiisaakdokewining?" is presented as a rhetorical question directed toward colonial audiences. This piece facilitates dialogue around identity discourse, blood percentage as a colonial form of Indigenous erasure, and how Indigenous identity should not be questioned as something quantifiable.
